I have a possum.
It’s not a pet. But I have a possum living in my roof. You wanna see? Here:

The possum was sleeping when I took these photos, so when the sound of my camera (which gives off a fake camera shutter sound, despite being a digital camera) woke him up the possum started snarling and hissing at me. Which is, in fact, why you even got pictures of him sitting up!
I wouldn’t normally feed the thing, but I thought you might enjoy seeing it eating. So, uh… enjoy!

So yep, we have possums. That’s pretty much it.
UPDATE:
We have at least two other possums — a mother and a baby. I know the mother isn’t the possum I photographed before because… well… she’s covered in horrible wounds. Checkit out:

Y’know, plus that baby is more than a week old.

it’s amazing where these guys turn up. found one, flaked out , inside my ork army’s motor-pool box, about a year ago. couldn’t access my tanks & stuff until i paid my “that banana in your hand tax”
Hey,
Great comic I read every wednesday. Try not to feed the possum bread it’s not that good for them. They like sweet potato and it’s very close to their natural diet, also most fruit they will eat and is ok for them.
Cheers
I don’t really feed them at all, but I’ll keep that in mind for the future in case I have occassion to feed one again. Which, hopefully I won’t. Because I really don’t want to encourage that sort of dependent behaviour.
If it goes invisible, remember to feed it a vegemite sandwich, some pavlova and a lamington
Wow, that looks almost nothing like the oppossum we have in the United States. Ours are ugly and mean. Yours look almost cute.

They might look cute, but try touching one and you’d find out the difference.
possums are the most lovely animals, do not!!! give possums any bread to eat, specially dry bread – educate youselves people!
